What makes Tannenhof special is the personal touch. The staff and owner were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel was comfortable and cozy, with amazing views and the facilities we enjoy, including a pool, sauna, and common room with Bord games, magazines, and free coffee. Breakfast was great too. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it.

The spa facilities were available, and the pool being open 24/7 was great after a long day on the road. I stayed one night and was amazed by how beautiful the place was. It's at the top of a hill with incredible views, and the black forrest is just around the corner. A perfect overnight stop.

You can look out over the vineyards toward Strasbourg, with hiking routes nearby. The outdoor sauna and grounds are especially nice, and the pool is kept in very good shape. The whole hotel feels carefully looked after, and the staff are warm and eager to help with what you need.

The view from the comfortable, pleasant rooms was lovely, but our two-night April stay felt poorly matched to the price. Breakfast had very little choice, the café stayed closed, and the pool was too cold for us to use. The sauna was switched off, so we had to start it ourselves and wait 45 minutes for it to heat up, then turn it off again. At €175 a night with breakfast for two, we left feeling the service didn't justify what we paid. Maybe it was the off-season, but service was very limited.
