The natural beach is about a 15-minute walk away, with room for a stroll, fossil hunting, or just relaxing. The cabins sit by the edge of a residential area, right beside a beech forest with plenty to explore. They have what you need for a comfortable stay, and children and pets are welcome. Shops are easy to get to, and the caretaker was very friendly. The cabins and the area are well worth five stars. I’d happily recommend a holiday here.

The living room and kitchen were furnished very nicely, and hot water always worked. But I left feeling unclean because the shower had only a rain head. Even at its strongest, the water barely trickled down and didn’t reach my medium-thick hair. How was I supposed to wash properly, or clean my backside? A sauna is nice, but that shower made it hard to feel clean. Upstairs, the bedroom with two single beds felt bare. The beds stood far from the wall, with just a small bedside table and a small built-in wardrobe with a strange layout. Under the window there was nothing, not even a table for my things. The upstairs furnishings seem to have gone downhill. I hope the next guests get a usable shower head.

The view from the living room is dreamy, and I’d gladly stay here again. This was my second visit, and I’m still thrilled with the cozy log cabin. It’s very clean, the caretaker is friendly and helpful with questions, and the landlords deserve thanks as well. There’s plenty to like inside: a well-equipped kitchen, a big table, and a bench that saves space when there aren’t four people staying. The sofa is very comfortable, and so is the bed mattress. Upstairs, besides the two bedrooms, there’s a little table and chair in a bright spot that’s great for painting. We were pleased with the Etra table. Kids have play equipment to keep them busy while parents grill on the terrace. To reach the natural beach, you walk through the forest. Some paths go straight there, while others take a small detour that let me enjoy the woods longer. I even saw deer on a few mornings. The beach has rocks and some sand, good for walks, photos, and collecting things. I especially enjoyed the sunrises there. The sunsets are lovely too, though the sun doesn’t set directly over the sea. The high-shore path is also good for hikes, and there’s plenty to discover nearby, including the Fürstenstein grave. REWE and Rossmann are within walking distance.

I’ve been here twice now. The houses are clean and nicely furnished, and the staff are so friendly. You can walk to the Baltic Sea, and other places are easy to reach too. I’d happily return.
