We swam between Prora and Neu Mukran, and also took day trips to Hiddensee, Cape Arkona, and the island of Umman. The views from the Wissower Klinken cliffs were breathtaking. From this hilltop spot, the Sassnitz lighthouse is in view, the Baltic Sea is right below, and you can see Binz across the water. It’s a great base for exploring Rügen. We took public transport from a stop about 300 meters away to the national park Skywalk, then hiked 7.2 km back to Sassnitz.
