Ferienwohnung Am Stadtrand

On arrival, the landlord and landlady were polite and accommodating, and there’s a barbecue spot and a separate place to sit outside. The TV is a good size and offers plenty of channels. Still, the apartment felt overpriced, and I wouldn’t book it again. It’s in the basement of a detached house, and there was a musty smell during our stay. Maybe it was damp, or perhaps the furniture is old. There’s no cutlery drawer, and the floor near the living room door is uneven. The stairs down to the apartment take some getting used to. Once a week, people talked loudly in the nearby garage until around 4:30 a.m., so we couldn’t sleep properly. In the final days, we lost contact with the hosts, and when we got to the house the garage door was closed.
