Villa Daheim

Fantastic spot and a great room, with all the facilities you need!

Couldn’t ask for better.... 😉

Apartment 5 was on the top floor, and the place made a nice first impression. Its location is handy, with the bakery only a two-minute walk away. But the apartment needs more to make it guest-friendly. The kitchen was very sparse, with no colander or cutting board, and just one large pot without a lid. There was no freezer compartment in the fridge either. The mattresses were quite hard, and the beds squeaked whenever we turned over. It also got very bright from 5:30 a.m. because there was hardly any way to block the light upstairs. The shower screen didn't close properly, and after a day without hot water we contacted the owner. The caretaker was called, and the hot water worked again. Parking is limited to regular cars and very tight. It was okay for 2-3 nights, but nothing special. At the current price, the value for money isn't acceptable; with some improvements, it could be.

The musty smell was awful, and the apartment felt like a complete disappointment. It was in a very old, run-down state and wasn't particularly clean. Dust was everywhere, the renovations had been done badly, and the mattress was very thin and soaked with urine. The bed squeaked with every movement.
