I found the apartment disappointing, and the narrow, steep stairs with a shaky railing felt dangerous for children and older people. The little attic room also gets very hot in summer, and our son kept waking up and couldn’t sleep well. I’d never before had an argument with a vacation landlord, but here I did, over something completely trivial. The hostess came across as petty, suspicious, and unpleasant. If that’s what you’re after, this is the place for you. I also don’t understand the very positive reviews here, fish sandwiches?

We had a wonderful time, thanks in part to Ms. Uhlemann, who was very friendly, helpful, and glad to offer tips. The terrace was lovely, and the apartment was clean, well maintained, and met all expectations. Shops are about a five-minute drive away, with tourist areas 10-20 km away, so getting around was easy.

We felt very much at home, and will definitely book again. The apartment and the hostess were both excellent.

The landlord was nice, and the place itself was lovely, well equipped, and in a beautiful location. Highly recommended.

A fish sandwich made with freshwater herring is delicious, and a taste that’s a little different.
