There are plenty of places to sit, a kids’ playground, lovely decor inside, and a great view from this nice location. The meals were tasty and generous, and the waiter was friendly and professional. One thing bothered us: you can hear the Czech kitchen staff shouting nasty Czech words at each other when you go to the toilet.

The view and the great playground were highlights, and the rustic decor was lovely without feeling kitschy. Last Saturday we dropped by Wachbergbaude inn in glorious weather, and the good mood carried through our whole stay. My wild boar sausage was beautifully presented, cooked just right along with the vegetables and sides, and the flavors worked really well together. I can't remember the price, but I think it was around €18, which felt fair for the quality and taste. Service was good too. We were briefly forgotten in the lunch rush, but they treated us well, listened to our feedback, and even acted on it. I did notice the hygiene wasn't perfect, though it was clean. I somehow repeated myself about the service and forgot the price, but I'm giving it 5/5 stars. Absolutely fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful time, I'll be back! 😊

The food was good, though the menu only has about 8 main courses, so it might be worth checking ahead to see if there's something you fancy. The view is fantastic, and there's a beautiful playground. It isn't visible from the tables, though, so with little kids someone will need to go along with them.
