We had a really good meal, and the service was outstanding. I did find two things frustrating, though. The menu is small, which can be fine, but they didn’t have Käsespätzle because they hadn’t made any that day. It’s such a simple dish, so that was disappointing. Also, the prices online were €1-2 lower than the ones at the restaurant. The online menu should be kept up to date. Still, everything we ordered tasted delicious, and we’ll definitely come back. 👍🏽

The prices seemed fair to me. For €26, we got the meal described, plus a large drink, which was absolutely fine. The regional dishes were a real treat, and the menu was ample, with a separate page devoted to asparagus. If pizza, pasta, or doner kebabs are more your thing, there are four places for those in the village. There were just two free tables in the nearly full outdoor seating area, and the server managed the busy service really well despite being the only staff member that day. Our food arrived after only 30 minutes. The schnitzel in cognac sauce was big and perfectly cooked, with a little salad and honey-mustard dressing on the side. The generous side salad came with several dressings, and the fried potatoes were done just right with onions and lean bacon or ham. Street parking is available for a limited time, or you can park at the train station, a two-minute walk away. Special praise to the staff member for handling the rush so well.

The pork chop was outstanding, and the menu is short, well priced, and nicely put together. The food is clearly prepared with skill. Service was friendly, too, and they were always happy to have a chat. The building and furnishings are showing their age, though everything was clean. It’s a good hotel with excellent restaurants and a beer garden, and I’d happily visit again. 👍

I’d happily stay here again if I’m back in the area. The room was clean, and while it’s older, as others have said, that gives it some character. The food and service were excellent.
