BUTZ home

The beach was an easy 10-minute walk, and we felt very comfortable during our week there. There was a little too little cutlery, and unfortunately the floor had stains, but that’s just nitpicking. We’ll come back if we decide to visit Scharbeutz again.

The holiday apartment was really nice, though I don’t get why there were only two knives and forks 🤔 The kitchen faucet leaks, and the shower screen doesn’t shut properly. Apart from that, great! 👍

The apartment has a central location, parking, and a smart TV, but our weekend with the grandchildren in Scharbeutz was a real disappointment. We had to pick up the keys at a restaurant about 5 km away. Inside, the place was neglected and needed a deep clean, including the drain, sink, and electrical outlets. The balcony and its furniture were neglected as well, and the apartment wasn’t clean. There was only enough cutlery for two people, even though there were four kitchen utensils. In the bedroom, we found a pill left on the floor by the previous guests. Thankfully our little boys didn’t find it. There was also a bloodstain on the mattress near the headboard. The shower spray was much too strong, and the water temperature kept changing wildly. We got a 40 euro refund, but it did little to ease our disappointment.

The holiday apartment was lovely and well located, around a 10-minute walk from the beach. We’d be happy to come back!
