The setting is very quiet, and being away from the immediate seaside makes it feel less touristy and more relaxing. Our room was modern and roomy, and we slept well. Service stood out throughout, with staff who were attentive, welcoming, and friendly. Dinner was a real highlight. The menu has a good mix of seasonal dishes, meat, and fish, made with very fresh ingredients and prepared deliciously. Breakfast had sausages, cheese, sweets, fruit, several kinds of rolls, and some bread. I enjoyed it, and the quality was better than at most buffets. We had dinner, stayed the night, and had breakfast, and it made for a great time. I’ll come back.

We stayed for two nights on the way to Sweden. The room was spacious and looked out over a small lake, and the staff at this small hotel were really friendly. Breakfast was excellent, though it wasn’t included. Parking is free and available, and the restaurant also serves dinner. We ate there and really enjoyed it, with generous portions.

We spent the night at the hotel, and the room was lovely, well laid out, and spacious enough to relax in. It felt far removed from the usual daily rush, a perfect end to a lovely evening. The Butz Hotel & Restaurant has a warm, relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The servers were very friendly and welcoming, and we felt right at home. We only had starters and main courses, but the food was mind blowing. The high quality dishes served in the small village of Scharbeutz really set your tastebuds off. If you’re ever in the area, make a stop here. You won’t be disappointed.

We booked the suite, and it was fantastic. The food was amazing, too. It’s dog friendly, and this place is a real pearl close to the sea. If I head off on an adventure, I’ll make sure to start or finish it here.
