We stayed the weekend before Christmas 2025. The hotel was very neat, and the staff were friendly. There’s a separate room with filtered tap water and a snack machine. Bringing a dog is no problem, though it costs 25€ extra per night. Our room was okay, but the bathroom was really tiny, like showering or using the toilet in a closet. There was a lot of dust under the bed and on the dust vent. The parking spaces are cramped, and I wonder if everyone could park when the hotel is full. We had one of the last spots, even though the hotel definitely wasn’t fully booked. The hotel is just off the beach, but on a busy road with lots of traffic. There were no fly screens, which could be an issue in summer.

The staff were super friendly, and the apartments are lovely, with the option to cook for yourself. It’s right by the sea. I especially enjoyed breakfast and the coffee!

The room was absolutely stunning, and breakfast was good. The location is perfect if you need to spend the night before or after a ferry trip. Charging our electric car didn’t work with our RFID, as the machine rejected it. We had a confusing and stressful check-in problem. I’d received confirmation of our booking and messaged during reception hours with our expected arrival time, since we’d get there after reception closed, but no further information came through. Fortunately, there was an emergency phone number. The person who answered first insisted we had no reservation and couldn’t help. Only after I repeatedly explained that the hotel had confirmed it did he say our room was ready and open. It was a strange experience when all we wanted was sleep. The hotel could have sent the room details earlier through the booking messages, which would have avoided the stress and confusing phone call.

The price off-season was far too high for the comfort and quality. It might be okay as a summer hotel, but it charges like a four-star place while oddly rating three, and I’d say it deserves two. Before and after this stay I was at Wyndham in Osnabrück and Clarion Grand in Malmö, both half the price and with triple the comfort. I can’t recommend it to any traveller.
