We had a nice weekend and liked the holiday apartment. We felt comfortable, even with a few things that could be improved. I’m sharing them for information, including for the landlord, rather than as a complaint. The location is close to the beach, about 350 meters away, but you get there via a steep staircase, so it isn’t suitable for people with mobility issues. The two brightly furnished bedrooms and a modern, smaller second toilet are upstairs, reached by a steeper staircase that could be difficult or dangerous for small children. The toilet has a step down that’s easy to miss when opening the door. At night it was worse, since the light switch is inside and it’s hard to see. My sister, my elderly mother, and I all stumbled into the little room. A motion sensor nightlight might help. The bed in the back bedroom was annoying because we kept sliding into the middle of the double bed. I don’t know whether it’s the mattresses or the bed’s support in the middle, but it would be good if the landlord checked. You can hear things quite clearly through the walls, both inside and out, though it didn’t bother us. The lower floor has a lovely modern bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bathtub. The kitchen across from it has a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven with ceramic hob, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plenty of pots and pans, dishes, bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils, and knives. We also found coffee grounds and filters, some spices, flour, and sugar in the cupboards. The kitchen connects to the living and dining room with a door, which makes setting the table easy. That room has a sofa bed that was comfortable to sit on, though we didn’t sleep on it, a dining table with five chairs, and a folding highchair for small children. The kitchen and living area were quite cold, and stayed that way for over 24 hours even after we turned the heating from 3 up to 5. The floor tiles were cold too, so warm slippers are a good idea. The big rug by the sofa slides around, which is annoying and could cause a fall. It would be better without it.
