If you tend to sleep through anything, this might be the spot for you. It’s right by Bundesstraße 76, where you hear the trucks and feel their vibrations through your body at 4 am. Motorbikes race through the junction all night to build speed before the motorway ramp. You’ll wake up a changed person. To be fair, it was a good area for cycling, and the place was clean. We barely interacted with staff, and our neighbours weren’t loud.

The toilet and shower facilities are modern and clean, but the playground needs an update and more toys. The site is close to both the motorway and the regular highway, which is handy but also makes it noisy. A large share of the caravans are permanent residents, and that’s a shame. Fine for a night or two, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

There are lots of permanent campers, which makes the campsite feel a bit distant, and the busy road nearby brings quite a bit of noise. It’s fine for a night or two, but I wouldn’t spend more time here.

A small bunch of drunk permanent campers shout and sing all day and night, making the place miserable. The road noise nearby “luckily” drowns them out a little.
