Management showed no real care. There was no sincere apology, refund, or attempt to find us another solution, and we felt ignored and disrespected. We arrived with our luggage after paying for the stay and were told we couldn't get into the room because of “IT problems.” It felt like an excuse, since the hotel was clearly being renovated, and we were left shocked and stressed without a proper explanation. It ruined the start of our trip. I wouldn't return, and I'd tell anyone thinking of booking to think twice.

The bedroom was really comfortable, and the breakfast was spectacular. Both restaurants are worth visiting, too. We also enjoyed the spa, with its pool, sauna, and massages. The hotel is right on the beach, with beautiful sea views from the windows. A lovely place to relax on holiday.

The food and service made this a really memorable dinner. We eat sushi regularly in lots of different places, and this was one of our most enjoyable experiences. The presentation and taste were both impressive, and our waiter was attentive. The view of the Baltic Sea from the restaurant was wonderful. My wife and I had sushi in mind, so we went to the Bayside Hotel roof restaurant without a reservation. Luckily, we found a good spot. Reserved tables weren't marked, and the waiters were busy at first, which caused some confusion and meant we had to switch tables. Once we were settled, our drinks came right away. The sushi took about 40 minutes, but we'd ordered several complicated rolls, so the wait seemed reasonable.

The view was amazing, and the room was a great standard. Every staff member gave us great service. Really lovely hotel, and I'd highly recommend upgrading to a deluxe room if you stay.

The cocktails were well made, and the sunset over the ocean was lovely. We had a fantastic night here, with a beautiful view of the Baltic sea, a great atmosphere, and attentive, thorough staff. The sushi boat is worth trying, too.
