Wellnesshotel Birkenmoor Garni

I especially liked the personal, family-like welcome; you really feel at home here. The setting is peaceful and the atmosphere relaxed, with a breathtaking view and everything you need to unwind, including a sauna and pool. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh, regional, and carefully prepared. The hotel brings together warmth and a thoughtful concept beautifully. A lovely place for a special break, and one I’d clearly recommend.

The garden was the highlight for me, beautifully laid out with plenty of spots to sit back and relax. There’s also a terrace where you can have breakfast or get some work done, making it a great mix of business and downtime after work. The hotel is small and peaceful, and it’s gradually being modernized. I found beautiful rooms, a great breakfast, an indoor pool, and a spacious sauna area, more than I expected. Fantastic!

The owners and staff were attentive, welcoming, and very friendly. There’s a beautiful garden and a spa area that’s perfectly adequate. The location beside the golf course is fantastic, with a lovely view from the course if you walk up there. Highly recommended, and I’d happily return if I needed to.

The hotel is clean, and breakfast is good. I was disappointed by the spa facilities, though: only one sauna was working, while the others were broken or out of order. The pool was quite cold, but still bearable. Reception was barely staffed, too. It’s an okay hotel, but at this price I’ve had better service and more for my money elsewhere.
