Hotel El Capitan

The staff, including the restaurant team, were consistently kind and smiling, and our family of six found a very good-priced place to stay. We spent three nights here with our four kids, two little ones and two teenagers. They kindly made room for an extra bed and a baby cot in the quadruple room so we could all stay together. The room was spacious, and the kids loved the big, pleasantly warm pool every evening after busy days at the park. We were happy with the stay and would come back, even though breakfast was basic and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. It cost €14 and had deli meats, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, and nice coffee. There were no fruits except watermelon one day. Given the lower price, we didn't expect too much, but I'd swap some of the deli meat for fruit. Our room was above the restaurant, so we could hear diners and music until 23:00, though it wasn't very loud. That's fairly normal with a restaurant downstairs. I was the only one who complained about the awful mattress and pillow. Maybe the bedding needs an upgrade.

The finished room was nice and clean, but having no bathroom heater in winter is strange. I also have a safety concern: why could my key open the room next door? The remodeling is a nice idea, but if the staff doing it don't know what they're meant to do, the hotel should close instead of staying open under all circumstances.

We had a great three-night stay in this lovely little guesthouse, with its Spanish restaurant and indoor pool. Our room was clean and pleasant, and the €10 breakfast buffet was worth it. We ate dinner there twice, and both meals were amazing, with Spanish tapas and burgers. The service was very good, and the staff were pleasant.

It was a short drive to Moviepark, and we had a great stay this week. Traffic made us arrive late, but they still let us order tapas and take it to our room, which was exceptional with tired kids after the long drive. Breakfast was good too. We'll definitely come back in winter.
