A nice little holiday apartment, with good restaurants nearby. If you get back from a hike earlier than expected, the Brocken coaster is about a five-minute walk away.

At Jägers Ruh, we found a clean, well-equipped little cottage in lovely surroundings, and the price was very fair. We didn't stay at Harzidyll. If we come back to the Harz Mountains, we'd definitely consider staying there again.

The Harz Mountains are a must-see, and the old steam train on the Brocken Railway takes you up to the Brocken mountain. From Harzidyll, the supermarket is about a 15-minute walk, with a bank and a good bakery nearby, so it's easy to get around on foot. There's plenty of room for three people, and Mr. and Mrs. Gewies are so friendly and welcoming. They also gave us great information about things to do in the area. Simply fantastic, I'll be back.
