The bed and blankets are far too short for anyone over 1.75m, and the mattresses were rock hard. The pillows and blankets were paper-thin too, so we barely slept. We really wish we’d paid a little more for a place with a better bed. Waltraud is very nice, and the location is fantastic, right by the forest and hiking trails, with a small grocery store across the street. The apartment is quite small but exceptionally clean, which was fine since we spent most of our time out and about. It’s the cheapest apartment in the area, and may be enough for travelers with very modest expectations, but we couldn’t get the restful sleep we wanted after long days.

We’d love to return for that stunning view. Our top-floor apartment had a balcony, and the room was very clean and tidy. There was a small kitchen with all the basics, including a cooktop, toaster, microwave, dishes, and refrigerator. Thanks so much for the lovely room! 🙂

There’s a little shop right across from the holiday home, which is in the village. The village is quiet and lovely, about 5 km from the Austrian border, and it’s quick and easy to get around from there. The apartments are very clean and charming, with a Bavarian feel 😊. The hostess is super nice, and I’ll definitely be back! 😀

The village is quiet, and it’s a lovely base for hiking and cycling. We liked the balcony, the plentiful car parking, and the garage for bikes. Towels were changed and the trash emptied, which we’re not used to but thought was great. The streetlamp shines into the bedroom, though the good curtains block most of the light, so that’s fine if it doesn’t bother you. What did bother us a little was the shop across the road getting deliveries around 4 am and 6 am every day. You can see the delivery vans. Otherwise, a beautiful location.

Everything was clean and worked as it should. The hosts were friendly and easy to deal with, and the apartment was simply but functionally equipped. We’d be glad to come back.
