Sonnenhof-Tipi-2

The cabin had everything we needed, plus a lovely big terrace, and the owner was warm and welcoming. We only managed two days at Sonnenhof, though we wished we could stay longer. It was such a peaceful break from the city, with a clean, lovely pool and lots of paths for walking. We'll definitely come back. 👍🏻

The bike rides were a real highlight, even without dedicated bike paths yet. We rode along rough forest tracks and past fields and meadows, spotting far more deer than people. One daily ride took us to Wolfshagen, with its lovely lake, old brick houses, and a beautiful church topped by a golden sphere. The newly opened "Zur Königssäule" inn had delicious food. Back at the small, simple wooden cottage, we loved the terrace and the many peaceful garden spots for reading and relaxing. We had a wonderful summer week there, and the hostess and staff were friendly and easygoing.

We spent four days here, and the sound bowl massage from the owner was a highlight. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The wooden cottage is simple but really cozy, and the terrace has a great view. A wonderful place to find some quiet and step away from everyday life.

Sonnenhof has become our own little dream spot. We love coming here to switch off, especially in fall and winter, when the cabin feels so cozy. It's a lovely wooden cabin all to yourselves, so it's a great choice if you'd like to do something nice for your partner. And it's wonderful that we don't have to travel far to get somewhere this nice. 🙃 Such lovely people. 🥰
