I wouldn't recommend staying here. The owner's instructions were unclear. When I booked through Booking, she didn't request a deposit. But once I got to the property, she wanted $300 in cash. I offered to transfer it to her account so I'd have a record of the payment, but she refused and said, "Just give me the cash amount." I handed over €300. When my stay was over, I left the whole house without any damage. Afterward, there was a dispute about returning the deposit. I kept giving her reasons to return all of it, and eventually she said garbage carried a €100 fee. I refused, and we had a heated argument. I told her I'd contact the Saudi embassy and the police, after which she asked for €50. I was in a rush to catch a flight and didn't have time to keep arguing. I said I'd report what happened to Booking and the other websites. Her response was, "Do what you want." I advise everyone not to deal with her.

A lovely place to just arrive, settle in, and be. I had a wonderful time there in May 2025. It was so nice to enjoy the view and the peace and quiet, and to watch the sweet sheep that were there. A good spot to spend some time with yourself. 🤗🪷☀️💫

The beds were some of the most comfortable we've had in a holiday home, and the tasteful furnishings made the place feel lovely. Even those of us with allergies were comfortable, which says a lot about how well cared for the house is. We also loved the terrace and its magnificent lake view. It was spotlessly clean, and the four sheep gave us plenty of joy. The house is beautifully equipped, especially the kitchen, which has everything you could need if you like cooking. Communication with the owner was really helpful, and we managed to arrange everything perfectly. We had a wonderful time at Schlierseehaus and would gladly return. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. :)

The owners were extremely unfriendly, and they charged us for damage that was already there. We also had a lot of arguments with the housekeepers. The sheep left droppings all over the terrace, sadly. The house itself was clean, not bad, and had a well-equipped kitchen. I'm not sure which house Frank Becker stayed in, but it definitely wasn't the one we had.

The owner was good to communicate with, and the house has everything you need. The view is great. Just be aware that it doesn't work well for anyone with mobility issues, since the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep and narrow.
