We had booked three nights, and the apartment itself was clean, really nice, well kept, and well equipped. There's no microwave, though one could have been requested. Its quiet location makes it a good base for walking and cycling. In the rest of the apartment we had to use mobile data, since Wi-Fi worked only right beside the router. The terrace was quite small, and the garden looked neglected, with lots of overgrown plants blocking access to the nearby stream. That was especially disappointing for our dog, who didn't have much room to explore or relax. We also would have appreciated a welcome or quick introduction. We were left to figure things out ourselves, which caused a little uncertainty but wasn't a major issue. The worst part was a misunderstanding on day two. We had just left the house to walk our dog when we came across the landlords. Our dog sniffed at some other dog's droppings on their property. They saw it and shouted after us, accusing us of not cleaning it up. We tried to explain that it wasn't from our dog, but there was no real conversation. The man walked away, and the woman called us liars. They were very rude even when we tried several times to talk things through. The landlady kept turning away while we were speaking, answering with "Sure" and "I'd say so too." As she finally walked off to her husband, she added, "This kind of thing disgusts me," which we could still hear clearly. We were left feeling unwelcome. Since this was the only personal interaction we had with the owners, it's hard to say anything positive about them.
