The quiet setting made it easy to relax, and walks and outings around the area are easy to start from here. The ski area is also quick and easy to reach, which worked well for a winter holiday. We stayed at the Otto holiday apartments in Nordenau and felt welcome straight away. The apartment was cozy, spotless, and extremely well equipped. Mr. Otto was especially welcoming, and you can see the care and attention he puts into his work. We had a really comfortable stay and enjoyed our time there. Thanks so much, we'd gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend the Otto holiday apartments.

Everything we needed was in the very clean, comfortably furnished apartment. The surrounding nature was fantastic, and the quiet made for relaxing days that passed far too quickly.

Nordenau is such a lovely little town. Now that we're home, we miss the view from the balcony and the church bells ringing every quarter hour and on the hour. The Heilstollen are well worth a visit, and remember to bring bottles to fill, or have filled, with reduced water. We stayed in the Fernblick apartment from August 31, 2024, to September 8, 2024. It was lovely, with absolutely nothing missing, and a small bottle of sparkling wine was waiting as a welcome gift. The peace and the view over the valley were wonderful. Franz Josef was very kind, open to all our questions, and more than helpful. We really were treated like guests. We'd stayed at Ferienwohnung Otto once before in 2015, though we can't remember which apartment we had then.

A beautiful spot to stay, with everything you could wish for. We loved the surroundings and the peace and quiet. Highly recommended if that's what you enjoy.
