The flammkuchen was so delicious, definitely try it! There’s plenty of parking, plus a one-lane German-style bowling alley. The food and service were excellent. I’d recommend coming with friends or family, and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

The food was tasty and the rooms were good. They’ve made good arrangements for the lack of it, and you can sit comfortably outside in the evening. The welcome and service were friendly, and it’s a great hotel even if you arrive by motorcycle.

We were completely satisfied with our New Year’s short break and plan to return next year! The apartments in the guesthouse were cosy, the hosts were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Many thanks to Eva and the whole team at "Der alten Post"!

It’s family-run, with a restaurant attached, and the country inn is very cosy. The rooms are spotless, the beds comfortable, and it stays absolutely quiet even with the road right outside. Getting there by public transport is difficult, though. It’s a good base for hiking, skiing, and cycling.
