Haus Hhenflug

The setting made for a really relaxing stay. The air in Schmallenberg was exceptionally clean, and with our old dog we could reach woods and meadows in just a few minutes. From the balcony, we watched many kinds of birds, since the family loves animals and feeds them several times a day. There’s also a milk vending machine nearby with fresh milk, ice cream, and other treats. We stayed at Haus Höhenflug this summer. The apartment was spacious and very well furnished, with everything we could need, and it was spotlessly clean. The host family was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. Their two lovely children even treated us to homemade cake, something we’d never experienced before. We went on several excursions and would love to return. Right by the forest and hiking trails, the location is wonderful. The apartment is simple but lovely, well-kept, and nicely furnished. The hosts are a friendly family who are happy to answer questions and share tips. We felt at home and would definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment has everything you need, and the host is friendly. It’s a great base for seeing the area, with plenty to do in every direction. Especially good for a dog, since you can head straight out from the house for a walk.
