There’s plenty to do nearby, and it’s a lovely area. The place is a bit dated, though that gives it some character, like stepping into a 1990s German home. For the price, it’s fair, and it has the basic things you need for cooking.

The hostess was very friendly, and the beds were heavenly. Everything we might need for a holiday was there. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wholeheartedly recommend Haus Claudia and would love to come back.

The apartment is nice, but the hosts don’t speak English at all, so you need to be able to speak German. Their dog barks every morning 🙄

The apartment is getting old, but it’s on the outskirts of Schneverdingen, close to the Heidegarten and the heath. It has everything needed for self-catering, and there are several restaurants nearby.

Getting around was easy by bike, with everything close by and very good bikes available. The apartment was really nice, and the Wi-Fi was good too (:
