Free parking was a nice extra in such a popular area, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. I loved the clean, cozy room and the very friendly staff. The location is hard to beat, right by the lake and just steps from boat tours and hiking trails. Highly recommend for a relaxing, authentic Bavarian experience.

The included breakfast was great, with plenty to eat and a lovely coffee machine. We had such a nice stay and would highly recommend Hotel Schiffmeister. My husband and I came for a weekend trip to Konigsee, and check-in was smooth with friendly staff. Free parking was handy, and our cute room had a balcony looking over the lake that we enjoyed right away.

Someone from the kitchen helped us get into the nearby parking so we could head out for the day, which was useful since there’s no other parking nearby. No one was at reception when we arrived after 9 am, and I was told staff start @ 11 Ann. The hotel is older but has charm, and some rooms look over the lake where the tour boats leave. Sitting on the balcony to take in the view is nice. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and there’s an elevator. The wood floors creak a bit.

Really enjoyed it here. The breakfast was very good, the staff were super friendly, and it’s the best place to stay in Schonau am Konigssee.

The breakfast spread was good, with scrambled eggs as well as hard-boiled ones. The rooms are a little old, but the location was good and the counter staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They recommended places to eat and visit, and we liked all of them. You can pay by card or cash, and payment is only due by the evening before you leave.
