The food was good, and the stay felt like good value. The rooms are clean, though a little old-fashioned. The shower has an old plastic cubicle, and the towels were limited and felt heavily used, even though everything was definitely clean. We also found the service attitude not very welcoming, which could be improved.

A museum and pub in an old brewery, with a nicely old-fashioned feel.

Dinner for the three of us, a man, a woman, and a dog, was good value. The schnitzel, steak, and homemade beer were all very tasty.

The house beer was really refreshing, and the vaulted cellar restrooms were spotless and well kept. There’s plenty of parking nearby, too. We enjoyed the food, though the meat portions in the different goulash dishes were rather small. The steaks with hearty ham and cheese were divine. It’s a charming cellar pub in a historic setting.
