Steigenberger Airport Hotel Berlin

The breakfast was superb, with a great atmosphere and a range that seemed unusually good for an airport hotel. Service was great too, and it’s right by the airport. We booked for three people with an extra bed, though I’m not sure whether we were upgraded. We got a large corner room with a big sitting area and sofa bed, plus a separate bedroom and a changing room with a closet and loads of luggage space. The hotel has everything you could ask for, especially for convenience. I highly recommend it.

There’s a subway station right in front, and the train ride to central Berlin took half an hour. Staff were very friendly and ready to help. I also had a great time in the sauna, and breakfast offered plenty of choice with everything tasting fresh. I recommend it.

Really nice hotel, directly across from the terminal. Breakfast costs 29€. There was just one pillow per guest, and the minibar and shower gel were empty. The only downside for me was the lack of sockets beside the beds, which matters if you need them for health reasons.

The breakfast starting at 5:30am was a big help with our early flight, and there was plenty of variety and substance. We were at Terminal 1 in about two minutes, while Terminal 2 took around ten. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and stylish. We couldn’t try the wellness facilities this time, but I’m sure we’ll stay here again next time we fly from Berlin and use them.
