The food was a highlight. Mr. Jungfleisch cooked my steak himself, and honestly, it was a top-notch, 5-star steak. At breakfast he asks how you want your eggs, and everything is freshly prepared. The hotel is very clean and tidy, and there's always help when you need it. Mr. Jungfleisch and Mrs. Zimmer are extremely friendly, as are the people in the village. The owner is a really nice guy and easy to chat with. It's not a 5-star hotel, but with the location, warmth and friendliness, it feels like a 7-star one. It's very close to the lake, and I'm very satisfied. I can only give it 5 stars.

The lake is beautiful and only a two-minute walk away. The room was clean and nice, if not very modern, and had a balcony. The hotel manager was friendly and helpful, and at the adequate breakfast buffet they kept checking whether we needed anything. The campsite looks a little messy, though everyone should feel comfortable there. They’re planning to install an electric vehicle charging station soon.
