The restaurant is a real highlight, with excellent food, a good drinks selection, and attentive service at a fair price. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny because of the building’s layout. Our welcome was a little rough around the edges, but this is still a place I’d recommend. We’ll definitely come back.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The hotel is beautifully furnished, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and really dedicated. We especially loved the delicious food in the hotel restaurant. Highly recommended!

We were soaked motorcyclists who needed a room at the last minute, and the warmth and helpfulness at Hotel zur Post were more than we expected. Within ten minutes the room was ready and the heating was on, while the owner waited for us outside in the rain. She found us dry parking spots for the bikes right away, and there was a clothes rack upstairs for our wet things. The hotel was officially closed, so unfortunately the kitchen was too. On the way back two days later, we decided on the spur of the moment to stay there again. This time the kitchen was open, and the fresh food was really good. The rooms were spacious and the beds great. We can highly recommend the hotel.

We had nine bikes with our motorcycle group and were able to park them in the courtyard, which was great. The owners gave us a warm welcome and immediately offered us a beer on the house 😎. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant is a nice spot to unwind and chat. Great rooms, excellent food, and friendly owners make this a good hotel for a quick trip or a longer stay.

The price was fair for what you get. I took off two points because the owner really needs to communicate better with guests.
