We barely saw the hosts, but arriving and leaving were both really easy. The apartment was out in the middle of nowhere, which suited us: it was super quiet and still close enough to Rothenburg, where we were headed. Inside, there was loads of room, an open layout and a loft. The blackout shades were great, and breakfast on the balcony was wonderful. We should've booked a longer stay. I hadn't realized how great it was.

I’m pretty picky about cleanliness, and this place was very clean, which I really appreciated. There’s plenty of space and the apartment is laid out conveniently, with two bedrooms, a washroom and a bathroom, plus an open kitchen, dining area and living room. The kitchen had a dishwasher, fridge, coffeemaker and all the silverware we needed. It’s a quiet, beautiful place, and definitely one of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in. I absolutely recommend it.

We spent our last three nights there before heading back to Spain, and it worked out really well. The apartment was spectacular, set up in a duplex or bungalow style with views of the forest. August was very mild, and the price was excellent.

The town is small and residential, with a vast stretch of grassland just outside it. Our family room had a duplex, loft-style setup, including a kitchen, a small living and dining area, and a balcony. The guesthouse owner lives across the street.
