The old town location made everything easy, and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. We spent two weeks here and found it unusually well equipped for a holiday rental, with lots of quality gear and thoughtful details. After busy days, that deep bathtub was especially nice. The owner clearly takes pride in the place and cares about guests. Communication was smooth the whole time. We’d gladly stay again, and would give it six stars if we could.

My best friend from the USA has stayed here twice already and plans to come again this year when he visits us. The apartment is right in Schongau's old town, tastefully furnished, and spread over two floors. It has what you need for a holiday, plus a parking space and an elevator. The hosts are lovely and very helpful, and really do their best to meet their guests' wishes. Shops are within walking distance, and it's a handy starting point for trips in every direction. We can recommend it 100%.

We were glad the earlier reviews held up. The spacious maisonette felt like home, and its furnishings and amenities stood out for their quality and attention to detail. Right on Marienplatz, it was a great base for sightseeing. The Schongau Christmas market was a lovely extra, and the KönigsCard helped us save quite a bit while making our outings more fun. The secure garage in the courtyard is a real plus in the city center. Thanks to the excellent hosts. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

We found the apartment spotless, roomy, and beautifully decorated, with every comfort we needed. The owner was easy to reach on WhatsApp throughout the week, and communication was excellent. Set in the middle of Schongau's old town, it's a fantastic base for Pfaffenwinkel and Upper Bavaria. The Konigscard was another big plus, with fun activities available for free. Absolutely perfect, highly recommend.

Everything is walkable from this two-floor apartment in the old town, including the butcher, baker, restaurants, shops, and the well-preserved city wall. We also got the free Königskarte (King's Card), which let us visit many attractions for free or at a discount. Schongau works really well as a base for the Allgäu region, Munich, Ammersee, Andechs Monastery, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Neuschwanstein Castle, and the Alps. The apartment itself is cozy, luxurious, and lovingly furnished. Mr. Schäfer was friendly, quick to respond, and welcoming on WhatsApp. A wonderful vacation!
