Ferienhof Block

The garden is so spacious, with all sorts of charming little spots, and we've been returning to the Block holiday farm for years. It's also a good base for walks and trips. On rainy, stormy days, the shared room gives everyone a place to play, make things, or chat, while anyone wanting some quiet can settle into the lovely apartments.

The children hate having to leave at the end of each stay. We keep coming back to Maren and Ingo's special farm, where the hosts help create a lovely sense of togetherness among the families, especially the kids. There's plenty for them to enjoy, from the animals and pony rides to the playground in the roomy garden, all surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The kids had a great time with the farm animals and the other children staying there. They could also ride horses, even without experience, with the very friendly owner supervising. The farm has guinea pigs, rabbits, two pigs, a goat, sheep, a rooster, and a chicken, plus billiards and air hockey. Outside, there's a big, lovely garden with a pendulum, swings, a trampoline, and sun loungers. You can arrange a barbecue or campfire if you ask. We stayed over Easter 2025 as a family with two children, aged 7 and 8. Parking is right outside the holiday apartments, and ours was clean and tidy when we arrived. It was very well equipped, with pretty much everything needed for a week or two. We'd happily vacation there again.

The e-bike rental was very inexpensive, and riding through the lovely countryside was one of my vacation highlights. Charging our electric car was no trouble either. The holiday farm itself is beautiful, with a lovely garden and peaceful, idyllic corners. The apartment has what you need, and Mrs. Block can help if you need anything extra. I highly recommend it!
