This was one of my favorite restaurant experiences in Germany so far. The place feels warm and charming, and the service and elegant setting made me feel at home. I had a fantastic five-course meal: grilled shrimp with marinated salad, turbot filet, veal filet, and creme brulee. Everything was presented beautifully. I'd definitely recommend it.

The chocolate fondant, served as one of four parts of a chocolate variation dessert, was incredible. I also had the Rostbraten vom Schwarzwaelder Weidering, cooked just right and topped with mushrooms, with crunchy simmered vegetables on the side. Margarete and Thomas Weber clearly know their business. It's a family-run little restaurant with spotless rooms, thoughtful details, a nice atmosphere, and excellent service. The wine list is interesting, and I'd recommend their Grauburgunder (Pinot Grigio).
