The nearby shops, train station, and pleasant walking routes were handy, and there’s parking on site. I ended up here while my car was being repaired at a local garage after it broke down. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast selection that was about what you'd expect. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help me. I'd recommend it.

Getting a room in the middle of the night was a relief after our car broke down on the autobahn near Schwarmstedt. At Hotel Bertram, the staff were incredibly friendly and looked after me and my family. They stayed flexible and helpful while we waited, unsure how long the car repair would take. Breakfast was good. In an unlucky situation, finding such a welcoming hotel felt like the luckiest part.
