Brigitte and her family made us feel right at home. The food was home-cooked traditional German cooking, and the schnitzel is well worth recommending. It’s a scenic, peaceful guesthouse with a beer garden too, though it’s only open on certain days. We had a really relaxing stay.

The second-floor room had a wonderful view, and I felt very comfortable there. The food was delicious, and the service was both friendly and excellent. I’ve stayed at this lovely little castle several times now, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The prices felt completely fair for the comfort and quality. What stood out most was the service: every staff member greeted me warmly and was incredibly attentive, in a way I’ve never experienced before. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and feels special in many ways. I’d gladly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and my bicycle was kept safely. Since it was Monday and the kitchen was closed, the owner offered either to make me a meal or take me to a restaurant. I’d been warmly welcomed even before reaching the castle, and someone offered to help carry my luggage to my spacious, very clean room. A perfect stay.

Brigitte gave us such a warm welcome, and we could keep our bikes safe and charge their batteries. We stayed overnight while cycling the Danube Valley Cycle Path. The rooms have all been renovated in a stylish, modern way, and breakfast left us wanting nothing. We’d happily come back.
