The terrace is a great spot for Schnitzel, and the beer was great too. You can take a canoe out for a paddle on the lake. We stopped here while cycling with a friend, and the landlady was so kind and helpful. She even picked up bacon for breakfast when she realized we were English. Such a peaceful little place.

The room was spotless, bright, and airy, with a fantastic view of the lake. We chose this as our first stop while cycling from Berlin to Cottbus, and our host was incredibly generous, even giving us an English breakfast for the next leg of the trip. It was by far my favorite place to stay in Germany.
