The food at this cozy country inn was superb and is well worth recommending to families and hikers. I was hiking in the Black Forest with my grandchildren, and we had a very comfortable night in tidy rooms. The bathroom was spotless.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, simple but just right for a relaxing break. I came for five days for the first time, and honestly, those were the best five days I’ve ever spent at a hotel. It’s such a peaceful place. There’s barely any cell reception, which might bother some people, but the Wi-Fi works really well all over the property. Breakfast was only an extra €4 and was excellent for the price, with plenty to eat and good-quality products. The cozy, almost Grandma’s-house feeling makes you want to sit down and eat. Dinner was delicious too, especially the "Cordon Blue." The boss and his wife are both warm, funny, friendly, and so caring. He’s definitely not your typical boss. I’d change the negative reviews other guests have left, if I could. Five stars from me, and I’ll definitely be back. I’m adding a photo of the boss, hope he won’t be mad 🤣, and a few from a short walk 😎 Liebe Grüße von Mascha ❤️

We had a delicious meal here for a fair price, and the staff were really attentive. It’s in a wonderful location too. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.
