Keilhof

The view from Keilhof was a highlight for us, with the lake stretching towards the mountains. There’s a well-equipped swimming area just a few minutes away by bike, too. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully put together, with solid wood furniture, a designer kitchen, and a recently renovated bathroom. The windows and balcony doors have mosquito screens, though luckily we hardly saw any mosquitoes during our stay. The farm is well kept and has plenty for children to do, including swings, a slide, a trampoline, a seesaw, a zip line, and lots of ride-on toys. Seeing all the animals was a real treat as well. Mrs. Bernhart was a warm, welcoming host, and communication was always quick and efficient. We had a wonderful family holiday at Keilhof and would be very happy to return. Highly recommend it.

We’ve stayed at Keilhof for the fifth time now, and the Bernhart family have been wonderful hosts over the years. Many thanks for all the hospitality, and until next time! The farm is spacious and quiet, with a large playground and animals everywhere, including horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, cows, and Resi the dog. It’s a paradise for children. The apartments are charmingly furnished, and the setting is beautiful, with views of Lake Chiemsee and the mountains. We highly recommend Keilhof.

A dream stay for our granddaughter. She had all the play equipment and toys she could want, and could even feed the very tame animals. The hosts were so friendly, and the bread delivery service was excellent. We loved our holiday here! 👍☀️🥰

We enjoyed our week here with our little daughter so much that we booked another stay straight away. It’s a fantastic holiday spot for families with children.
