Gastehaus LieNa in der Winkelsmuhle

At 9 pm, in pouring rain, we got a flat tire and couldn't get through to any nearby hotels. We'd lost our way on a cycling trip through the Harz Mountains and weren't going to make it to Goslar as planned. Frank was the only person who picked up, and he offered us a room on the spot. We were welcomed so warmly, and the room was really cozy with a view of the forest. The next morning, we could sleep in and stay as long as we liked. The price was very reasonable, too. I've never felt so grateful for a place to stay. Thank you again so much!

I spent five weeks here while working in Seesen. Frank and Johanna were incredibly friendly, and the room was beautifully furnished, right down to the pictures on the walls. The terrace seating was great during the day and for chatting in the evening. The place sits right in a lovely forest, though there is a drivable road leading to it.

There are several fishing ponds nearby, and the location under tall old trees feels idyllic. It's a good base for hiking, cycling and other trips around the area. The apartment itself is simple but cozy, with a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The landlord is friendly, has a sense of humor, and tries to meet almost every need.

Just outside Seesen, this hostel is surrounded by nature and has a very friendly host. The single and double rooms are tastefully furnished. It's a great spot for a day out in the Harz Mountains or just to relax beneath the huge linden trees.
