It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot that works well for children too. The staff were very nice. Definitely recommend it.

The green surroundings are lovely, and early morning walks might bring deer, sheep, and other animals into view. Nearby there are walking trails, playgrounds, and a garden where you can pick flowers. In July and August, there may be a jazz festival in Seeshaupt, and the ice cream place across from Edeka is worth trying. As for the stay, it’s fine for one night, but the kitchen has only basic equipment. We messaged the owner twice without getting a reply. The garbage wasn’t collected, so we had to work out where to take it ourselves, and there were no tea towels or dishwasher tablets. The front door is shared and gets used by other guests, so expect people staying above and below you.

The owners and staff are very kind, and it’s a cosy, friendly place. The food is the best in Seeshaupt.

I love the restaurant, and the guesthouse is good too. My parents are crazy about this place!

The food was pretty average, but the place was nice and the service attentive.
