The room was spotless, and there was a bottle of water and a cookie by each bed, a nice touch. I didn’t ask the front desk, so I’m not sure whether shampoo or other toiletries are available on request. I’d bring your own just in case. Check-in was easy after booking through Booking.com, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread, different cheeses, and an espresso machine.

We loved having a balcony, and the room itself was just right. Safet was extremely accommodating, and the building was impeccable. There was a good range of fresh breakfast options, too. The hotel is away from the crowds and noise but still only a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay.

The view by the riverside is amazing, and breakfast is exceptional, with local products.

The room was spacious, with a fantastic view, and the free parking was a real plus. It’s close enough to the Castle and main street, and breakfast was delicious, with cheese, bread, yogurt, and fruit. The restaurant food and menu were great, too, but there’s no English menu for guests who don’t read German. The mattress felt saggy, probably because it was a bit old, so I took off a star.

The room was comfortable, and the view of Cochem Castle was calming and cool. We were upgraded at no extra cost and enjoyed a good breakfast. You can ask for your preferred kind of egg, and the owner will make it. He’s friendly, too, and can give you good food recommendations. If you’d rather stay away from the crowded parts of the city, this hotel is probably one of the best choices.
