The pillows weren't to my taste, though that may just be personal preference. Everything else was good: friendly staff, good breakfast and cleaning, and plenty of parking. The rooms were pretty good, and the restaurant had enough choices for a couple of meals. I'll book here again soon.

The staff were kind enough to prepare a lunch box for us, and it was really good. That helped make up for breakfast starting too late for me and my colleagues, at 6:30am-10:00am. The room also felt a little small, even for one person. At times the air conditioning was very loud, even when switched off, which was especially annoying at night. I was happy with the stay, but expected a bit more in some areas for a 4 star hotel.

What keeps bringing me back is the breakfast and the staff. The food is handmade, from pancakes with homemade batter to scrambled eggs made with fresh eggs and tasty baked potatoes. There are plenty more dishes, too, and I always wish I could eat more in the morning. Staff check in to see if you need anything, and they were especially attentive to what the kids might want when we stayed as a family. They make you feel like a guest, not just a customer. I've stayed in several room types. The room with a folding sofa and twin bed worked perfectly for my family, and the single rooms were good too. The rooms are standard, with a desk that's suitable for working and a small TV I don't use much. The furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but everything is clean and well maintained. It's more of a business hotel, and I also like how easy it is to go running through the fields and woods nearby.

We've traveled across Europe and back every summer, and this hotel is always on our list of places to stay. It's very reasonably priced, with modern, clean rooms and really friendly staff. There's good underground parking, and the nearby village has some lovely local shops as well as two larger supermarkets. This place is the dog's doo dah's.
