The location is beautiful, and the hotel staff and workers were lovely. But the place is shabby and far too expensive. You can get much more suitable accommodation elsewhere for much less. The noise was so loud in the room, it sounded like a motorway was passing through.

I always try to stay here when I'm in Siegburg. It's quaint and homely, with plenty of old German charm. The rooms are a little eclectic, but that's part of the experience. The hosts are wonderful, and the meals are good.

With the window shut, you can hardly hear the A3 or the planes from Köln-Bonn, thanks to the very well insulated windows. If you like to sleep with fresh air, I'd recommend earplugs.

The host is amazing, but the hotel could use a few more facilities. It isn't veryyy comfortable.
