Dagmar made everything easy, with clear instructions and very quick replies. The apartment had everything we needed and felt like home right away. It’s in a lovely neighborhood for a relaxing break, with enough space to park outside. We drove, which meant getting there was no problem. There aren’t any supermarkets nearby, so plan ahead, though the host can arrange fresh bread if you need it. A great base for visiting the Alps.

The mountain views here are incredible, it really felt like a little paradise. The cottage is cozy and has a bit of an 80s retro feel, while the kitchen is equipped for a longer stay. We felt as if it could be our own place. Dagmar was a wonderful host, quick to respond, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

That balcony view of the mountains was incredible, and the cabin had such a comfortable atmosphere. We stayed for 10 days and would happily come back. It was spotless, with lovely modern rustic furnishings, and the kitchen was thoughtfully laid out with everything we needed to cook, including a dishwasher. There’s a double bedroom downstairs and two twin rooms upstairs, each sleeping two comfortably. Downstairs also has a bathroom with shower and toilet, a washer-dryer, a living and dining room, and a small kitchen. Shopping options are not far away. The electric blinds and window mosquito nets were handy. For rainy weather there’s Wi-Fi, Netflix, and an Amazon Fire TV Stick. They really have thought of everything. Top marks for the whole stay.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and we'd love to stay again. The house sits at the edge of Vorauf holiday park and has lovely mountain views, lots of room, and a large balcony that’s great for relaxing. It’s well equipped, too. From here, it’s easy to take trips around Chiemgau, to Salzburg, into the mountains, or to Berchtesgaden National Park.
