The owners were friendly, and the apartment was clean and well furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. We missed having a microwave for warming things like milk or hot chocolate. There was no high chair or crib, and bed linens and towels weren’t included. They could be booked for €50 for two people. We were two adults and two children, and arrived early hoping to check in sooner, but that wasn’t possible. Our WhatsApp message went unanswered. Our 3-year-old was worn out after the 4-hour journey and went to bed at 7 p.m. The house is very noisy. From 8 p.m., someone played the piano and it was quite audible, and doors were slammed very often. The beach walk would have been fine for adults but was too far for small children. Shops and restaurants were also quite a distance away. We couldn’t shower because the faucet’s pull-up button was broken, and the shower curtain was moldy. Dogs aren’t welcome. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

The ground-floor holiday apartment had a terrace and was very clean and modern. The landlords were friendly too. I did miss having a grill, but the smell could bother the tenants upstairs, so I understand. I’d come back.

A lovely, peaceful place for permanent campers, run by a nice and very friendly family. Jochen Buchholz is at the helm and does a capable job. Keep it up, and here’s to many more years of friendship. Best wishes, Elke & Horst 🫶😉😎👍

The curtains let sunlight in, and there were no blinds or blackout curtains. The sun had us awake by 6 a.m. Still, it was very nice.
