You’re right by the Baltic Sea, but the beautiful view and hiking trails make it easy to settle into the peace and nature here. The villa feels like a fairytale, tucked in an enchanted forest, and lets you forget everyday life. The hosts are so kind, helpful, and friendly. You feel very well looked after. The apartments are clean, modern, and have everything needed. Even the frozen pool has been lovingly designed. I highly recommend Villa Vogelsang and always enjoy coming back.

I stayed here with my children in October 2025, and I just can’t understand the good reviews. Maybe the hosts are in a better mood in summer, or perhaps it was because we were foreigners and looked like we didn’t understand German. The pool was cold and unusable, so my children had no fun at all. We were told, “It wasn’t the season, we’re not even familiar with swimming!” This is nowhere near family-friendly, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I called reception repeatedly, but the problem wasn’t handled professionally. Charging €20 for two hours in the sauna is a rip-off. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and I could have booked a hotel for that price. This place should be shut down. It doesn’t deserve even one star.

The sea view from our apartment was breathtaking, and the sandy beach was just a 5-minute walk away. The complex was quiet and well-maintained, with a lovely outdoor pool and indoor pool. Our apartment was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. We got a warm, accommodating welcome and felt at home right away. It was a thoroughly relaxing holiday, and we’d love to return.

This was our seventh vacation with the Lipke family at Villa Vogelsang, and we loved it just as much as before. We’re already looking forward to coming back. The Lipke family are wonderful hosts, and the apartment complex has a huge amount of space, with a trampoline, playground, table tennis, soccer goals, hammocks, barbecue area, outdoor pool, and indoor pool with sauna access. The beach, which is quieter than the promenade, is around a 4-minute walk away. Within 15 minutes on foot you can reach the amusement park, bowling alley, mini-golf course, and the busier beach promenade. The bus stop is about 5 minutes away and the train station about 10, so getting around without a car is easy. For shopping, Rewe and Aldi in Neustadt are both excellent options, about a 7-minute drive away. On rainy days, there are fun things to do within about 30 minutes by car, like water skiing, speedboat rides, swimming pools, or museums. We also recommend the Eismeer ice cream parlor and the Strand Genuss restaurant.

The pool and the small indoor pool were fantastic, and the apartment had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our family had a wonderful holiday at Gästehaus Vogelsang.
