In room 222, where I stayed from February 15 to February 27, there was clearly visible mold in the shower. My wife is allergic to mold and began having health symptoms during our stay. I reported it and asked the hotel to address it properly, but nothing was resolved. It seemed to be a structural issue, not something ordinary cleaning could fix. Because we were concerned about hygiene, we left early. I asked to cancel the remaining nights and pay only for the nights we had already stayed, which were fully paid. The hotel refused, even though we just wanted to move elsewhere for the rest of the stay. After we got home, I saw similar complaints from other guests in Google reviews, so this may affect more than one room. It was a very disappointing experience. Hotels should take bathroom mold and other hygiene concerns much more seriously.

The breakfast was great, and the staff were really nice and helpful. The place looks a little dated, but it’s clean and cozy. There’s no air conditioning, though it wasn’t too hot at night. I could hear people out on the street all night, but it was Saturday. I’d recommend it.

The hotel is in a quiet area and the location is good. Our room was very clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. There was some confusion about check-in: the receptionist said it started at 3 pm, but I’d been told by email that it was from 2 pm. Even so, he was nice and respectful.

My room was up to date and very clean, and the shower had just the right water pressure. This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in while visiting Germany. The desk staff kindly let me work for a few hours in the cafe area, but the cleaning lady got very passive-aggressive about me sitting there and kept slamming the vacuum beside me. It was completely unwarranted.

The room had a big TV with working channels, plus a kettle, tea, and coffee for free. The rooms are pretty and cozy, though some have a bit of damage from previous guests. Receptionists were polite. WiFi is available, but its password changes every 24 hours. The hotel is near train tracks, so it can be loud with the windows open. With them shut, it’s comfortable for sleeping.
