The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and parking was easy to access. The room was the main letdown: it badly needs updating, with shag carpet straight out of the 80s. The whole second floor smelled like sewage, so we had to open our window for fresh air. Otherwise, the hotel was okay.

You could hear everything going on in the other rooms, and the old-fashioned carpet was exactly what I hate. The rooms really need an update.

The staff are kind, and breakfast is delicious. It’s a nice hotel in Singen, about an hour from Zurich, with a quiet location and the city close by. One downside: the bottled water and coffee left after the room is cleaned are only provided once, with no refill.

We traveled from the US with our three-year-old, and everything went smoothly, from booking through breakfast and checkout. The staff and owner paid close attention to each table at breakfast, and everyone was thoughtful and kind. Our sofa bed was already pulled out and made when we arrived, with a little plush lamb waiting as a gift for our toddler. The space has lovely touches and accommodations for everyone. The. Perfect. Experience. We highly recommend Best Western Hotel Lamm!

The pillows were really uncomfortable, so bring your own if you can. During the day it was quite loud, like construction was going on, which made staying in the hotel less pleasant. Still, the bar staff were very friendly. Best western Lamm feels newly renovated to me, and the rooms were very clean with new furniture. Breakfast was great for Germany, with options from American-style to German.
