The owners welcomed me at the last minute after the hotel I'd originally booked fell through because nobody was there to check me in. I still haven't heard from that place 😂. I had a great dinner, breakfast, beer, and wine here, and the peaceful valley view was terrific. I'd definitely come back.

The rooms were very clean and quiet, and breakfast was excellent, especially the delicious scrambled eggs. The hosts were warm and helpful, and the area is beautiful, with splendid views. A great place to stay around here.

We slept wonderfully midweek, with a lovely breeze up on the castle wall, and the hotel was quiet. It's a stunning historic spot high on the wall, with perfect rooms and facilities, a marvellous restaurant, and cordial staff.

Dinner and breakfast were good, and the hotel was nice and clean. We only found out at dinner that they don't accept cards, but we worked around it by making a transfer through honor.

The nearest supermarket was pretty far away, which was the only downside. The room was very clean and inexpensive, free parking was available, and the view was amazing.
